It is in the nocturnal stillness of winter that the trees were seized by the light, awakened from their slumber.

It is in the daytime torpor of summer that the flowers were wrapped in shadow, lulled to sleep in their awakening.

NATURA PROFUNDA, two series exploring Nature as a reflection of our own shadowy realms, a meditation on what we choose to reveal or conceal, to see or ignore, blending the conscious and the unconscious.

With the powerful serenity of trees, the ephemeral beauty of flowers, unveiling what darkness is willing to tell us,

​

Experiencing darkness as a place of loss, memory, or absence,

​

Seeking in matter shapes, echoes, a buried story beyond time, questioning the fragility and beauty of life,

​

And keeping only what the light is willing to give.

​

Perhaps, through a part of this world, reaching a part of ourselves.
